Saturday, June 21st (10:30am - 12:00pm)

Workshop A:
Finding Your First 100 Donors

On average, Community Cafes fundraise 47% of their operating revenue. And individual donors are the key to success of every fundraising plan. But, for a new cafe this can be difficult and feel overwhelming.

This workshop will walk you through the practical steps of where to start, what to do when you receive a donation, and what to do when you get stuck.

With over 10 years sales and marketing experience in healthcare, Julie has successfully transitioned her skills to the nonprofit sector.

As a part of One World Everybody Eats Board of Directors, Julie is a critical player in the short-term and mid-term strategy development to position the organization for the next stage of growth.

Workshop D:
FAQs for cafe start-ups

Every Community Cafe® is as unique as the communities they serve. If you’ve experienced one Community Cafe, then you’ve seen only one cafe. However, over the years One World Everybody Eats has developed seven core principles of successful nonprofit Community Cafes, which are rooted in Food Insecurity Theory.

This workshop will answer the most frequently asked questions from communities looking to launch a Community Cafe and answer a few of your questions.
